Riving Guard
In my senior year of high school, I took a class called "Project Lead the Way: Engineering Design and Development." The entire class was centered around finding a solution and designing and prototyping a solution to that problem which we identified. Our group decided to tackle table saw safety and created the Riving Guard: a non intrusive saw guard. More details can be found in the Project Portfolio. I worked in a group of 3, and was responsible for much of the CAD modeling and prototyping.
